Censorship

Trying to remove any remnants of what has happened and when it happened, but by leaving the space there between where it has happened it is framed e.g. Cromewell house trees, memorial. Do the houses that were attached to it still refer to it as the house next door but 1 even though it has been removed?.

In spaces where tragedy occurs why do they always make a garden? e.g. Ground zero, Cromwell street. Is this like a cover up? Put something nice there and people pretend nothing has happened? but people remember, it's not a space in between it's a missing part... a big glaring hole. They put a garden there because they don't know what else to do.

How do people wh remember react day to day?

It is not a space more a void, like if you void a transaction it doesn't mean that the transaction didn't take place.

People still walk past there and go "That's where Fred and Rose lived" even if ther are looking at 2 benches and a lawn.
